Charing Cross Collectors Market
EVERY Saturday (for the last 30+years) early morning through to early afternoon. A great place to come to find something interesting! The collectors market covers coins from every period from around the world, plus stamps, postcards and other interesting bits and pieces! A must for the rummager! Top quality items are also available along with their budget counterparts. People visit this market from all over the World- a best kept secret!!

A most enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning - and if you come really early, you can get back home before the family are up and about (if they don't want to come with you!).
Even if you aren't buying it is fun to meet fellow enthusiasts and talk to people who share your passion - a good place also to get ideas and valuations on your coin(s).
If you attend the next JURYS or HOLIDAY INN (London Fairs) ...it will add to your day to come down to the market....or better still make an outing any Saturday morning from 0800hrs until early afternoon. We generally finish around 2.00p.m.
REMEMBER Embankment tube is on the CIRCLE and DISTRICT line and the Market is indoors about TWENTY YARDS from the tube exit!! Even if you walk down to Trafalgar Square from the HOLIDAY INN or JURYS (a 10 minute stroll) Charing Cross mainline station is literally another two minutes stroll away and VILLIERS STREET runs down the side of the station....EMBANKMENT TUBE and the MARKET are at the bottom....and only THREE STOPS ON THE TUBE FROM VICTORIA....
....lots of bargains and coins from all periods and countries...artefacts from all periods also stamps, postcards and what have you...the Company is good as well!! |
